A blockage and a smell are two different problems, and granules won’t fix the second one. This is the weekly-habit product of the pair: around 100 ml down the drain late in the evening, left overnight.
For a bad smell already there, half the bottle or all of it, left 15–30 minutes with no water running.

How to use it
Shock treatment: pour in half the bottle, or all of it for stubborn odours, and leave for at least 15 to 30 minutes without running the water. Repeat the next day if needed. For upkeep: about 100 ml into the drain once a week, ideally late in the evening, and leave it overnight.
