Most people wash their face and stop there. The toner is the step that gets skipped, and it is the one that takes off what the water left behind.

It goes on a cotton pad and is patted onto dry skin after cleansing. You don’t rinse it off — that is the whole point of it, and it is written that way in the data sheet.

The formula is short: water, glycerin, and three plant extracts — nettle, sage and burdock. Nothing else is doing any work in there. For skin that gets shiny by midday, it is the cheapest habit to add to a routine.

How to use it

After cleansing, apply to a cotton pad and gently pat onto dry skin. Do not rinse off.
