The alcohol is the whole point of this one: it evaporates fast, takes the feeling of dampness with it, and leaves a protective film that keeps odour-causing bacteria from multiplying. Fresh within seconds, which is what most people want from a deodorant on an ordinary morning.

Aloe vera, glycerine and lemon extract sit alongside it, so it soothes and hydrates rather than simply stripping the skin.

If your skin is freshly shaved or waxed, take the alcohol-free cream instead — same line, opposite formula, made for exactly that day.
