The instructions ask for five minutes. That is the part people skip, and it is the part that makes this jar different from a hand cream: you take a little, work it into the knee or the shoulder slowly, and then cover the spot with cotton or a wool blanket and leave it warm.
Under the shea butter and beeswax sit devil’s claw root, arnica, and essential oils of rosemary and thyme — the plants that have lived in home massage balms for a very long time. The texture is dense on purpose. It holds its shape in the jar and softens the moment it meets warm skin.
This is the 150 ml jar — the one for when you already know you’ll keep reaching for it, and per millilitre it goes further. If you’re meeting the rosemary-and-thyme scent for the first time, start with the 50 ml: same formula, smaller commitment.
Two things worth knowing before it arrives. There is beeswax in it, so it isn’t vegan. And it behaves like a real oil balm — firmer in winter, softer in summer. That is the formula doing what oils do, not a fault.
Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on children under 5. It contains essential oils, so try a little on the inner elbow first.
What's in it
- 150 ml — the same formula as the 50 ml jar

- Sweet almond and sunflower oils, vitamin E
- Apply to the area and massage for about five minutes, until fully absorbed

- Contains beeswax — not vegan
- 12 months after opening
What it does
- A cosmetic product, not a medicine — it does not treat or replace treatment for anything
These are the approved wordings, the ones printed on the box itself.
